Fixed braces offer children, adolescents and adults an optimal option for the targeted correction of their misaligned teeth.
Removable braces are versatile in terms of form and function. We mainly use them to correct the teeth of children and adolescents.
With Invisalign aligners, inconspicuous, aesthetic tooth correction is possible. The transparent aligners are almost invisible.
Lingual brackets are bonded to the inside of the teeth – towards the tongue. They are a special type of invisible and fixed braces.
In our orthodontic practices in Hanover and Burgwedel, we use modern technologies such as intraoral scanners and digital x-rays.

Frequently asked questions about
Orthodontics
At what age should my child see an orthodontist?
A first check-up is recommended from the age of 9, or earlier if there is a noticeable change of teeth or jaw problems, in some cases from the age of 6.
Are the costs covered by health insurance?
For children under the age of 18, the statutory health insurance fund will cover part of the costs if there is a medical necessity. The KIG classification provides orientation.
Adults usually bear the costs themselves, unless there is a severe jaw anomaly.
How long does orthodontic treatment take?
The duration of treatment varies, but is usually between 1.5 and 3 years – depending on the tooth and jaw situation and the type of braces.
Are there inconspicuous braces?
Yes, there are transparent aligners or internal fixed braces (lingual technique) that are particularly discreet.
