Fixed braces are still a proven treatment method in orthodontics. However, we know that many patients (adolescents and adults) are skeptical about the idea of having to wear them for long periods of time. That’s why we plan each treatment individually, carefully and with the patient in mind.
We offer you a choice of different high-quality bracket systems – from classic metal brackets to virtually invisible ceramic brackets.
The duration of treatment is also planned precisely: Thanks to targeted, individualized therapy, the fixed braces do not have to be worn for an unnecessarily long time.
All brackets are gently attached to the tooth surface – visible on the outside or, if desired, invisible on the inside. The highest quality, delicate design and proven materials ensure maximum comfort during the entire treatment.

Fixed braces
Multiband bracket systems are firmly attached to the teeth and consist of different high-quality materials.
Metal brackets
Metal brackets are usually made of stainless steel and are used particularly frequently due to their high effectiveness and advantageous cost-benefit ratio. They are available in both a classic design and a delicate, inconspicuous version.
Ceramic brackets
Ceramic brackets (tooth-colored brackets) are made of tooth-colored ceramic and are particularly popular with adult patients, as they are much less noticeable than metal brackets. The additional costs are not usually covered by statutory or private health insurance.

How long does the treatment take?
The duration depends on the position of the teeth. Minor corrections can be completed after just a few months, more extensive treatments usually take 12-18 months.
How often should I see an orthodontist?
The progress of the treatment is checked approximately every four weeks.
These appointments are also used by our orthodontists to replace archwires. Small repairs are also carried out if a bracket has come loose or a wire is bent. In such cases, please let us know in advance by telephone.
How is the treatment planned?
The basis can be created with a precise digital 3D scan of the teeth.
This allows the entire tooth movement to be planned virtually and the result to be simulated before treatment begins.
Can all malocclusions be treated with it?
A wide range of malocclusions can be treated with it.
Therapy combinations are also possible, for example in the case of oral surgery and orthodontic treatment.
Is the treatment painless?
When inserting new braces, there may initially be a slight feeling of pressure – a sign that the teeth are moving. The pressure will subside within a few days.
The oral mucosa first has to get used to the new thing. We use a special wax to treat sore spots. This allows the irritated areas to heal quickly.
Can you eat everything with it?
Hard and very sticky foods should be avoided as much as possible during the braces period.
